We are looking for a Business Development Intern who will assist to run the ground in Singapore to drive market growth through acquisition and management of client and partnership leads. You will take ownership from day one, and help our clients and corporate partners understand the value that StashAway can provide to them.

With a keen eye for detail and understanding the competitive landscape, you will identify and qualify leads for the Business Development team. You will assist the StashAway Reserve Wealth Advisor to build relationships with our high and ultra high net worth clients ("StashAway Reserve") and identify opportunities to drive growth. You are able to ensure a high level of service quality and build relationships with our clients by managing the email correspondences and attending face-to-face meetings that you will attend with our Business Development team members.

Responsibilities:


  • 0. General
    • Maintain and update all client activity on our CRM systems (HubSpot and AirTable).
    • Assist in the preparation of professional and compelling proposals and sales presentations.
    • Ideate and execute on ways to improve engagement with clients and corporate partners.
    • Create touch points to co-organise and prepare events for our clients and corporate customers.
    • Attend events, seminars and networking opportunities locally and/or regionally.
  • 1. High & Ultra High Net Worth Clients ("StashAway Reserve")
    • Develop and maintain an active prospect pipeline to achieve sales targets and expand StashAway Reserve's customer base.
    • Conduct research on clients/prospects, industries, competitors, organisations and conferences; market analyses, marketing/sponsorship opportunities and other business development efforts to drive volume.
    • Arrange, manage and attend appointments with clients.
    • Create and maintain a database and tracking system for the sales channel.
    • Maintain investment performance tracking data to develop monthly factsheets.
    • Readily reply to client emails when necessary.
  • 2. Partnerships with Corporate Partners
    • Build and maintain a network of relationships with corporate clients and prospects.
    • Research on competitors and market intelligence to improve business strategy.
    • Gather competitor intelligence to effectively counter competitor offerings.
Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor degree in Business Management, Marketing, or equivalent.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with care and discretion.
  • Well organised, high standards for quality work and strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Outgoing personality; you are confident when interacting with people of higher seniority.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g. pivot tables, VBA) and Powerpoint.
  • Ability to work independently, effectively handle and prioritise multiple tasks simultaneously, while being professional and able to stay calm under pressure.
  • Data-centric; you are confident about learning how to use CRM systems (i.e. HubSpot and AirTable).
  • Have a strong interest in investments and finance.
