SG - Product Manager (Invest)

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our team in Singapore who will be working closely with the Head of Product. 

You are expected to develop a deep understanding of the digital wealth management landscape in our markets (currently SG, MY, HK, TH, and MENA) and bring that understanding and the insights to the wider organization. You will define and manage the product strategy and roadmap, identify customer needs and support the ideation and delivery of digital wealth management products to create delightful customer experiences and drive business growth.

  • Understand customer needs and industry trends, plan StashAway’s investment product strategy and roadmap, and manage the prioritization and delivery of new investment products in different markets.
  • Transform business requirements into feasible product offerings and priorities.
  • Lead project management, focusing on resource and timeline management. Establish clear milestones with visible progress regularly, with emphasis on quick iterations.
  • Balance business impact, technical feasibility, user experience, and implementation schedules.
  • Analyze product performance data and collect user feedback to optimize user experience.

  • Must-haves:
    • Tertiary education with a strong academic track record in the related disciplines of Banking and Finance, Economics, Mathematics and Accounting.
    • 1-3 years of working experience in product management, or a related role, preferably in a tech startup.
    • Strong knowledge across multiple asset classes in investing such as equities, fixed income, money market instruments, or real estate.
    • Self-driven, highly motivated and able to work as a team player.
    • Strong organisational / business evaluation and problem solving skills.
    • Accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong working relationships across functional and geographical teams.
  • Good-to-haves:
    • Some understanding of various backend and frontend technologies.
    • A financial planning background and/or CFA and FRM certificates are bonus points.
